Everyone these days love to take screenshots, as it is very easy way to keep record of various things and share them. This option is available on all the platforms such as Android, Mac or Windows.
However, if you are new to Windows, you may wonder where do these screenshots you take actually go? Well they are saved in the Pictures folder (obviously).
But don't we like to have our stuff such as documents, files, music, videos arranged separately on our laptop. So, you may have thought of storing all your screenshots at your desired location, so that it can be convenient for you to use them anytime.
Well, I have you covered.

Well, I have you covered.
You can change the location of your screenshots in your laptop quite easily by following the below mentioned steps:
1. Firstly, you need to create a new folder where you want to save your screenshots in future.
2. After that, you need to head over to the Pictures folder and open the Screenshots folder.
Right click on any empty space and click on Properties.
3.In the Screenshot properties dialog box, click on the Location tab.
And then click on the Move tab.
4. Then you need to select the folder where you want your future screenshots to be saved(the folder you created in the first step).
Once done, press OK.
5. After this Windows will prompt you to move all your old screenshots to the new folder you just created, click on Yes .(if you want the older screenshots in the same folder)
NOTE: Interesting thing is that you can always change the location to its default location by the "Restore Defaults" option.
Well that's all it takes to change your default screenshot location in Windows.
Now, the next time you take any screenshots they will be saved in your selected folder.
I hope it was helpful. Do comment below if you had any problems.
